| Early Saturday morning Feb. 26th , Mike and Jacoby were involved in an accidental fall from a second story balcony. Meshell from Metal Judgment was also involved. Injuries were sustained by all three. Mike has a broken arm, Jacoby suffered a fractured vertebrae and a compressed disk, along with a badly sprained ankle, and Meshell suffered a broken leg. The injuries aren't as bad as initially thought, so Deeds will back in business within a month. "We apologize to all the fans and promoters of the shows we had to miss." |

"All we can say, is that we are all extremely lucky and fell well. The injuries could have been fatal from the 20 foot fall. We barely missed the brick driveway only inches away from the spot where we landed." Jacoby was released from the hospital on Saturday night, and Mike was released on Sunday. incident occurred when the wood railing that Meshell and Mike were leaning
on broke through. When Mike tried to save Meshell from falling and couldn't
hang on, Jacoby tried to grab Mike and that's when all three of them fell.
Update: Mike had surgery to repair his wrist. He will be in a cast for 6 weeks. Jacoby sustained a vertebral compression fracture and will need healing time and physical therapy. |
